We need to know whether the diporpae of diplozoid monogeneans (family Diplozoidae), before getting fused in a pair, feed on fish mucus or skin cell debris, or if they are already able to ingest blood from gill filaments. Your own research experience is welcome. A paper which could be cited will be even better, I did not find anything yet!
