Climate change is projected to increase extreme events. Droughts are likely to create greater water scarcity. The poorest of the poor will be affected most by water scarcity as they will not be able to procure water from other expensive sources. Clearly, this will cause huge sanitation problems. If there is not enough water do you want it for drinking and cooking or for showering and toilet use? Increased droughts can exacerbate open-defecation problem. While, this may be construed as adding nutrients to the soils, fecal wastes also contain pathogens which are harmful. I find it absurd that we can look at climate change as being a very negative contributor to the human condition when currently mankind / womankind.. does not give a hill of beans.. / 2cents / a cr_p about today's human condition. As an example the most prosperous nation in the world, yearly produces from animals raised for food, 100 to 110 times the waste from every man woman and child in that country.... much of it unregulated or untreated, yet we spend millions of dollars on wastewater treatment plants for humans. The rivers and lakes of this great nation are now green mainly due to nutrient loading from dumping manure and fertilizers on the fields.. By the way this is not limited to this prosperous nation but to most around the world.

Climate change is to me as much a diversionaly subject, as it is a concern for a lot of people. I am more interested in producing a technology that can restore the contaminated waters of today so it can be used tomorrow, whatever the climate condition.
