Whether radiation destroy silicon-glass bonding? Is there any chemical reaction going which create defect on the bonded silicon-glass surface?
Hello,
Actually it depends on your irradiation wavelength. If it provides enough energy to break the bonds in the silicon glass, some ionic species might be created in the material. The silicon glass might turn from insulator to a conducting substance.
Good luck
