CSR comes strong with new accreditation requirements where stakeholder engagement is a must, that is, student engagement activities with societal needs, improvement of HR programs and enhancement of performance standards beside the main mission of academic universities is to serve the community at large by providing quality education that serves the job market.
Private Universities are generally privately held and privately funded universities within the regulatory frame work related to higher educational institutions and universities. CSR must involve all the stakeholders and must engage in activities and research that address the social causes and do good to maximum of the people. Universities must also strive to build up trained, quality human resources for the country. Creativity and innovation may be the goal.
