I am of the opinion that human composting is an unethical issue that goes against the culture and beliefs of many people from all regions and should not be promoted or supported by governments under any circumstance.
Human composting is claimed to be environmental friendly and cheaper. However, it will not be acceptable to a huge majority of people. Isn't the accepted practice of burial environmental friendly any way? If cost is the issue, then probably efforts should be directed in looking for ways to reduce it instead.

Usually we say that we have control over our bodies when we are alive. Do we lose control of our bodies when we die? Could I have the option to "compost" my body if I wish to do so? I have to right to donate my organs. From whose point of view is it unethical? How does it harm others in society, if I wish to exercise my right for "composting"? I am confused. Please clarify so that I may learn from you.
Nolberto Munier It seems that you feel quite strongly that it is unethical. From whose point of view? In a normal burial, no nutrients are added to the soul. Your reasons are not very clear. Who is hurt from the human composting?
I speak out of respect for a human being, and for me it is unethical from the society point of view.
We are made of water and minerals, but we are not raw materials that can be transformed in useful or useless products.
Our contributions while alive have shaped the world as it is, with its right and wrong decisions.
Who is hurt by human composting? Our own concept of human beings, that after passing away are being used as manure.
During the WWII abhorrent things were done, before and after the assassination of millions of people, and in violating their corpses just to recover the gold of their teeth and the hair of their heads, and the fat of their bodies to fabricate soap. What is the different between this and human composting?
Do you think that the memory of a dear member of a family, or a renowned artists or scientists must be associated with a handful of manure? What about the feelings of people that want to pay a visit to the resting place of dead family member?
Not everything in life is related with the best use of our resources and in making money. We are not metals, wood or vegetables that can be recycled, because that is what using human remains as manure is.
With the due respect to your ideas I feel that I have answered your question.
