There are acidic methods, acidity is used as sulfuric acid (H2SO4) and basic methods use bases like sodium hydroxide (NaOH) there is also another method WHERE ENZYMES CALLED enzymatically.
The most common methods are transesterification and esterification. They are cheap, reliable and fast. But depending on they type of raw material that you will use they may not be the best choice.
Does anyone have information about obtaining biodiesel from fat or fish oil?
