We can calculate the reliability of structure during their life cycle using time-variant reliability method. So, what are the mathematical differences between them? Could anyone share few references that can clarify the differences mathematically?

)I used a method for time-varying reliability estimation. one is online and the other is offline. I think the online one is called life-cycle reliability!

Thanks for sharing your interesting research work. In my opinion, there haven't any theoretical difference between them. The only difference is like for time-variant reliability, it can be for any duration, however, life-cycle reliability term consider the specific design period for particular structures.
