What are the determinants of the occupational difficulties that academics are exposed to?
Belowmentioned are some of them that I observe.
lack of financial support for academic research, absence of academic leave, urban transportation problems, work-life imbalance,
insufficiency of research facilities, student disabilities, etc.
What do you think? I would like you to suggest other occupational difficulties?
Hello, I think insufficiency of research facilities, research level student disabilities, etc.
Actually all of the problems you mentioned academics face. Added to this the industry-academia connect is missing. Getting permission to do research or for understanding reality in organizations is difficult.

As academics, we had better assure industry-academia networks or cooperations to do either better studies or integrate theory to industries. I believe that industry administrators should support academics and universities.
