what are the changes one can expect on fluorescence life time and cyclic voltametry on methylation of ESIPT hydroxy group? if possible plz provide references. what are the other parameter which also gets affected?

Methylation will stop stop ESIPT which will lead to increased lifetime of the locally excited state. Example of such is 2-(2'-hydroxyphenyl)imidazole and its methoxy derivative
