What are the chances/frequency of different types of gametes produced from a Triploid cotton plant (3x=39) when it is crosses with G. hirsutum (2n=4x=52)? How much chances of production of the tetraploid F1 from this cross? Could you provide some literature?

Our experience with Rhododendron (deciduous azaleas) is the viable seedlings from a 3x X 4x are normally 1) aneuploids between triploid and tetraploid or 2) pentaploids some of which may be aneuploids near pentaploid..
The percentage of pentaploids seems to be dependent on the teraploid pollen parent as well as the triploid seed parent.
In other words, the questoin is not what is the distribution of gametes from the triploid but instead what are the viable combinations of these gametes with the gametes from the tetraploid pollen parent. The gametes from the triploid seem to be unevenly distributed from 1x to 2x centered around 1.5x with some percentage being unreduced 3x or near 3x.
Moreover there is some evidence the tetraploid does not always contribute exactly 2x.
Note: We have seen insteads of seedlings that are clearly between 4x and 5x from 3x X 4x.

From practical in cereal crops. 3x with 4x, You will get sterility and fertile plants (in 1x). The fertile as different chromosome numbers (3x +- 1X) and this will have parental chromosomes from both
