I am researching how to improve/ support the mobile application development by creating a tools at the middle to the computer servers. Please help me to reveal the challenges.
The following are few challenges developers generally face while connecting databases:
- As lesser data can be stored on mobile devices than desktops, more database queries are required. And even then the app should load very quickly.
- Multiple databases create a problem with caching scheme where server affinity is preferred. Due to this performance degradation may happen.
- Connectivity issues can also play an important role in performance and user experience.
The main problem in mobile application development is device fragmentation.

Research of automatic integration of structured and semi-structured data has not resulted in success over the past fifty years. No theory of data integration exists. It is unknown what the theoretical necessary requirements are, to fully support automatic data integration from autonomous heterogeneous data sources. Therefore, it is not possi-ble to objectively evaluate if and how much new algorithms, techniques, and specifically Data Definition Lan-guages, move towards meeting such theoretical requirements.
