Dear Christine, I am not sure which type of Depression specifically, or in which field, but I am aware of one that has looked at physiological markers and has identified specific ones. It is the first study of its kind and could be used to predict and identify those with depression. If this is of interest and you do not have it, I will send you the information. Keep well.

Much of the research out there is on participants that meet diagnostic criteria for MDD, but there is much less on subsyndromal depression. Many of the studies I've read indicated that individuals experiencing MDD vs subclinical depression in adolescence have similar detrimental developmental outcomes in adulthood. But there just isn't much I've found on subclinical/subsyndromal/subthreshold depression for adols. Anything you have would be fantastic. Thanks again!
