What are the best reactor configuration module for the hydrolysis of lactic acid oligomers to lactic acid ?

The hydrolysis is taking place using steam at high pressure and the lactic acid so formed should be easily recyclable.

I am using the Yoon Model of polymer degradation to understand the hydrolysis mechanism.

I recommend that you use either Aspen HYSYS or Aspen Plus software from Aspen Technologies Corporation.

Both software have at least four types of chemical reactors (Gibbs, etc.) that you could use to model the hydrolysis of lactic acid.
