The problem is as follows: we have a body of a relatively complex shape. The domain under consideration can include multiple materials. The properties of materials are isotropic and depend on temperature. It should be possible to add heat in a local area (in a cell). To solve the problem I would like to use the finite difference method and to find a suitable fnite difference scheme. Could you please advice me the good books to read in this area?

Fundamentals of Heat and Mass Transfer by Incropera, Finite Difference Methods in Heat Transfer by Ozisik, Numerical Methods for Engineers and Scientists by Hoffmann and Heat transfer by Çengel. These are a good introduction.
