during the current decades, daily increasing development of theater in different countries and new dramatic theories presented on the basis of high capacity of the art in improvement of the quality of life, new aspect of drama have been identified and presented.
An aspect focused by majority of educational and training bodies, scientific and academic circles is Pedagogic Theater.
As part of my social care course we studied facilitation drama and used theatre games some were based around Agust Boal and the theatre of the oppressed. We looked at a selection of drama games and the stories behind fairy stories . We had to adapt a fairy story modernise it and give an old story a new feelings ng while retaining the core message in the original fairy tale. We used drama as a means of exploring social care issues such as domestec violence bullying addiction and any issue that might affect our clients. I enjoyed drama and its use as a pedgagogic tool to help and heal our clients.

I think I may have an essay that I could upload and I know we had to devise a 20 minute facilitation piece when I get an opportunity I will upload the piece to research gate for you I know my lecturer liked my simply structured facilitation piece and asked permission to take it to another college where she was taking place to show sytudent how to devise a facilitation piece of their own.
Yes Farideh, Drama has been used as pedagogical tool over and over again especially in experimental theatre practice. Here in Redeemer's University where I work, my students and I have constantly engaged in dramatic projects using school curriculum to empower young people against social vices through drama. The effect has been both amazing and therapeutic for both facilitators and young participants who have constantly looked forward to the experience each semester.
I could not find the piece but I can forward a title of an excellent drama facilitation book that our lecturer got us to use in developing our facilitation piece it takes you through the different stages needed to develop a facilitation piece and is an excellent tool with loads of games ideas and material for the student who wishs to fine tune their facilitation skills I believe the essay I have may now be on an old computer I will try to retrieve it and upload it. I went through computer nightmare having gone through 3 in total during my 5 years in college I did try to store as much material as I could on Ian sticks. But may not have retrieved all of the material I wrote in college
