Hello everyone,

I am studying kappa carrageenan hydrogels to be utilized for medical use. We wanted to make a hydrogel made up of semi-refined kappa carrageenan as the main material together with other polymers. we wanted our hydrogels to last for about 7 days or more without significant shrinking of thickness. I have read related literature about different polymers used with carrageenan already like PVA, PEG, etc. but I am not confident enough to refer. I hope someone can enlighten me to this. Thanks!
