I've recently heard about the impact of German student organizing in 1968, which sparked to some academic reforms in the country. Are there any sources on this that would provide more detail about the politics involved and any education reforms that were implemented?
There are definitely a lot of ressources on this topic. I don't know if you speak german, but first of all I would start with a basic Wikipedia Research (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_student_movement) (the German Version has a lot more detail and sourches, though). Then I would do the same with the Article about the "Außerparlamentarische Opposition" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Au%C3%9Ferparlamentarische_Opposition).
Then I would try to get access to archive material about the time (1960ies and 1970ies) of newspapers, magazines, flyers etc. to get an overview about the developement of the discourse.
Furthermore, I know that Jacques Rancière wrote a lot about the 68 Movement. I think with a focus on France, but since the student movements of France and Germany are somewhat linked, maybe this would be a possibility to read about this as well.
But IMO it would definitly help to speak German to dig deep.
