I've been using phosphorus pentoxide as the desiccant while drying my enzymes; however, our stockroom has now run out of the chemical. What are other chemicals that can be used as desiccants that are as powerful as P2O5?
Is Mg perchlorate anhydrous? Thank you, Paul Milham! I am drying enzymes in a vial under a vacuum. Originally, the vials are just placed on top of the P2O5 so solid drying agents would be the best suggestions.
