I am conducting an experiment using Vive pro Virtual Reality Glass and EEG simultaneously.
I figured out that there is a 20 Hz activity in the power spectrum density of EEG signals while using virtual reality glass compared to the EEG only condition.
Now, I do not know whether this activity is because of the electromagnetic activity of the VR device have some other reasons.
Is there anyone who had such an experience? would please tell me what are possible noises while using VR or may you introduce me to related sources?

Your question is so interesting. I'll check this as soon as possible.
As you may know, some devices we have in home generates an electromagnetic field as strong as 60hz. So my bet is the EEG is just capturing it. Let's find out.

Hi,
all digital devices are usually working on a higher frequency(MHz); so I doubt they can generate noise in 20Hz. Even though their DC source is not ideal DC; but the frequency is about 600KHz. it may stem from ELF(extremely low freq.) noises. These noises, so-called Schumann resonances are the resonant frequencies of the spherical Earth-ionosphere cavity which surprisingly has a peak of 20.1 Hz.
