In supergravity theories combining general relativity and supersymmetry, the gravitino is the gauge fermion supersymmetric partner of the hypothesized graviton. It has been suggested as a candidate for dark matter.The gravitino is the fermion mediating supergravity interactions, just as the photon is mediating electromagnetism, and the graviton is presumably mediating gravitation. Whenever supersymmetry is broken in supergravity theories, it acquires a mass which is determined by the scale at which supersymmetry is broken.

The carrier of e.m. interaction is photon. That for strong interaction is gluon. Similarly the carriers of weak interactions are W, Z bosons. Existence of all these have been experimentally established. Then 'graviton' the carrier of gravitational interaction is expected to exist.
In this connection I cite a recent article by Freeman J. Dyson:
"Is a graviton detectable", International J. Mod. Phys. A , vol.28, no. 25 (2013).
If 'graviton' is taken to be too much hypothetical and imaginary, "gravitino" is more so
as it depends upon the existence of local "supersymmetry" and its breaking , and no evidence of TeV scale global supersymmetry has been found so far by any experiment.

In supersymmetry, there is an equal number of bosonic and fermonic degrees of freedom. The gravitino is the fermonic partner of the graviton which is the carrier of gravity. i don't agree with previous post claiming there is no graviton.Like electromagnetism, gravity exhibits a macroscopic behavior. It is when one reaches a quantum level that the photon (particle) properties of light appear, so one could assume that at a very high energy regime a graviton may appear.

It is predicted by supersymmetry, as the supersymmetric fermionic partner to the spin-2 graviton. Perhaps what your question alludes to is the fact that supersymmetry provides a possible path towards grand unification, that is, the incorporation of the graviton (along with its supersymmetric partner, of course) into a consistent theoretical framework; something that the Standard Model (without supersymmetry) has not been capable of.
