Students bullying is very comman in science and engineering colleges globally. Above words are being used commonly. Are they same or differ with each other.

Hazing is the practice of rituals and other activities involving harassment, abuse or humiliation used as a way of initiating a person into a group. Hazing is seen in many different types of social groups, including gangs, sports teams, schools, military units, and fraternities and sororities.
Ragging is a damaging form of interaction of the seniors in college or school with the juniors, newcomers or first years. It involves insults (simple or suggestive sexual, sarcastic and even physical), running errands for seniors, and many other complex activities.
