Thank you, Elakneswaran. I am working on geopolymerisation of fly ash and GGBS through activation by mixture of sodium hydroxide and sodium silicate solution. I am searching surfactants to disperse solid particles of fly ash and GGBS in alkaline solution. Can you give some directions in this regard.
Thank you Dr Ariadne Tsambani. Good thesis. It was interesting to note that cement particles in a neighbourhood may carry charges differently and hence there is tendency for flocculation which can be overcome by use of superplasticiser so that all cement particles carry same charge
Thank you Mr Bhupesh, Sodium silicate do act as surfactants. But, dosage level is very important. Its action as dispersant in geopolymer system is not really a likelihood since in geopolymer mixes, concentration of ions in the liquid system is too high and this could make the solution to behave differently
