In the context of ISO 21448 (Safety of the Intended Functionality – SOTIF), modeling triggering conditions is essential to understand and evaluate functional insufficiencies in automated driving systems. I am looking for methodologies or frameworks that can systematically represent these triggering conditions within simulation environments or scenario models. The goal is to improve the identification of safety-critical situations that arise not from system faults, but from limitations in system design, perception, or external context. Any suggestions, existing models, or relevant literature are welcome.
