What analysis is required for measuring metal ion doping amount(in weight %) in a semiconductor metal oxide nanoparticle?

Please give answer with proper explanation. ICP-AES is one of the method I know but I want another sophisticated, less sample required and easily available instrumental technique which can derive the exact doping amount. Do the XPS can measure the doping percentage efficiently?
