DPLB is an organization hosting a database used to support computer science researchers by providing free access to bibliographic meta-data and links to all electronic editions of publications (Scopus index and non-Scopus index).
ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) is a unique identifiers linkable to an individual's research output. In ORCID record, you find your profile(s) in Scopus only (high quality publications).
Each of them has it own purpose, in case of linking them, researchers won't be provided by a way to differentiate between high and middle quality papers, that's why researchers are always asked about their ORCID in order to check whether they have a good research reputation. So, it better to assign each site for certain quality of papers.
Hadeel Saleh Haj Aliwi I don’t agree you may misunderstoof my question. Currently DBLP is adding meta data to authorather profiles and one of this is ORCID. However they ask to be manually verified and that’s what does not seem clear to me
