Actually Lantana camara is considered a major weed in many regions all around the world, please have a look at IUCN/ISSG GISD Database at http://www.issg.org/database/species/ecology.asp?si=56 and cosider to apply a risk assessment protocol before introducing it in new areas where it could escape from cultivation.
Such an interesting question, a few days ago I asked the opposite question to this in a conference where discussion was about the invasiveness of Lantana camara.
I do agree with its toxicity and invasive nature. Yes it is toxic and invasive and so far we have failed to control it efficiently, so we have to go with it. Now the point is, whether we could use this plant as a source for some sort of productive application. And fortunately Lantana has been reported to possess several medicinally important metabolites in it, some of them are summarized in article as well. In some areas, it is uses as firewood and mulch. You could find some more uses of Lantana if you just goggle “Lantana craft”.
