We sometimes encounter these Microturbellaria-like worms. They are found in the mesohaline reaches of the Schelde estuary (Belgium)
Does anyone know what kind of worms these are?
Thanks in advance!
Jan
Looks like nemerteans from the pictures.
maybe Patricia Salazar-Silva can help you, she works with Polychaeta (Annelida)

Are these live or preserved? Are they ciliated? Can you fix some under a coverslip, seal it, and send it to me in Kent, UK?
Dear wolfgang
They are not ciliated. Next time we find them, I'll send you some.
Have you found an identification yet?
