We are trying to isolate DNA from Commiphora wightii and end up isolating so much resins with DNA which is creating a lot of problem in downstream?

Commiphora wightii is a medicinal plant and resins are used for preparation of many bioactive compound. Can anyone tell me how to purify this DNA?
