We had in mind the option to bore the cylinder but then we faced the difficulty of having a piston to fit the size of the bored cylinder.

The second option that we had tried working upon was milling the cylinder block but then it was found out that it would slacken the timing chain and could result in a blunder.

Now , we are back to square one. In what new ways that we work upon increasing the compression ratio of our engine?

And how to proceed with the piston designing part (where to study about it)?
