Pesticides become prime compo in agricultural activities to meet the growing demand of the human population. But indiscriminate usage and mishandling led to two disasters in India such as Bhopal (MIC) and Kasaragood (Endosulfon) tragedy. Was there other disasters which were not reported?
Not all manufacturing plant disasters list all the products, so there may be some overlooked pesticide disasters.
Here is one that is listed as a pesticide plant:
Tianjiayi Chemical Co. — explosion kills at least 78, injures 640. Tianjayi produces more than 30 organic chemical compounds, some highly flammable. The company had a history of safety violations and had been punished repeatedly, according to the state news agency, Xinhua (march 2019)
