We work closely with several groups who conduct translational studies of ventilator-induced lung injuries and protective ventilation strategies using mouse models.
For example, Dr.Suki and Dr.Szabari use the flexiVent to apply variable ventilation strategies that alternate between volume-controlled and pressure-controlled ventilation, dynamic PEEP control, and constantly vary ventilation parameters (RR,TV, deep inflations).
