How to control protodecarboxylation and homocoupling of carboxylic acid during C-H functionalization?

I am trying decarboxylative C-H functionalization reaction, but i am facing problems of proto decarboxylation and homo coupling of acid derivative. Can any body suggest me how to control or minimizing these side reaction?
