Hi all,

I am trying to assess 3 unrelated factors in our organization. Together, they should give me an index of how well our workers in different countries are prepared to continuously learn using a digital learning system. (to be precise, I am looking at the readiness of working with a digital learning system, the readiness for lifelong learning itself, and the readiness to become multi-skilled).

The 3 factors have not been used together to explain a construct, but they are theorized to be factors for continuous lifelong learning.

My main target is to establish how high different countries score for each of these factors. I would then conclude each countries' readiness for each factor.

Since I am still a student and unexperienced, I have 2 questions:

1. Can and should I establish relationships between the 3 constructs?

2. The 3 constructs have been measured with multi-dimensional scales. Do I need to integrate all sub-scales / all dimensions, or is it fine to only include scales that are of interest for our index?

Thank you and best regards,

Julia
