i want to use the root exduates of resistant varieties for suppressing the growth of Fusarium oxysporum and doing that i also want to quantify the extract that what it contains that suppresses the growth of pathogen? Which of the quntative analysis would be best to quantify it?

Analyze root exudate for presence of alkoloids & then test these for their effectiveness on suppression of growth.Take individual alkoloid after chromatographic separation.
