If President Biden is to revive the New Silk Road that was developed at CENTCOM, what are the things to add, delete or make changes on? In other words, what could the U.S. do to update the previously developed Silk Road initiative and make it acceptable to the Taliban in peacetime?

An interesting and timely question. Is the US involved with the New Silk Initiative beyond regional security interests?

I don´t think that the US will act according to what the silk Road has been representing to Taleban (investment). CENTCOM may be in the centre of the interests of redirecting US efforts that were out of the region, but I still doubt if the US reduced influence status is really reversible or if facing Russia and China in the region is not the main objective.
