I need to understand the results of Table 3 of paper "Understanding mobility based on GPS data" by YuZheng.
Change Points is a point in GPS trajectory where user changes his transportation mode. The author finds the change points in a trajectory by his proposed segmentation algorithm. As per my understanding these precision and recall values of Change Points should be independent from segment features. But the Table 3 of the paper showing different precision and recall values for different set of features. Can someone here elaborate me this concept. I am already familiar with precision and recall definitions.
