Since you are augmenting the process of solar cooking through thermal energy storage, in this case may I know which type of solar collectors or concentrators have you preferred to meet the desirable characteristics of both solar cooking and TES unit?

Thank you vary much professor Gerro J. Prinsloo for this valuable information. However, my point was on the uses of Scheffler dish system for solar steam cooking process. Scheffler dishes are widely used for various concentrated solar thermal applications such as solar cooking, distillation, industrial processes and many more. The performance characteristics of these systems are highly dependent on the tracking mechanism. The human intervention through manual tracking leads to higher tracking errors and hence, it is attributed towards the significant energy losses. Whereas the fully automatic double axis tracking (One for diurnal and second for seasonal motion of sun) of dishes is very scant among the users and the manufacturers. Therefore, the working performance of these systems can never be met unless until we have full proof automatic tracking tools and thus, they are lacking in wide dissemination and commercialization.
