I'm trying to analyse phenolic compounds (phenolic acid and flavonoids) in quinoa seeds by HPLC but I'm having some problems with the hydrolisis of bounded compounds. I would like to ask, in your experience, which is the best sample treatment method in order to analyse total (free and bounded) phenolic compounds.
I have read that acid and basic digestion is very common, but I think your experience would be a good point to start with.
