The journal has a good discipline and because of that has grown fast. The journal smartly publishes the Invited Papers which enhance the citation and thus IF. It seems that the journal is more enthusiastic in welding metallurgy papers (the papers trying to disclose the relationship between the microstructure and mechanical performance of the welds).
