I'm under the impression that meta-analyses rely on data from quantitative interventions/RCTs/experiments, thus, leaving aside quantitative data of studies using correlational and observational research paradigms. I'm probably wrong about this… I hope you can shed some light on it. Thanks!

You can work on metanalysis (MA) for interventions not only using evidence from RCT studies. You also can take information from non-randomized studies (NRS). You can use NRS information in the case there is not evidence available from RCTs, or perhaps, if the quality (or certainty) of the evidence from RCTs is low.
On the other hand, you can do MA for other study designs, such as diagnostic, prognosis, etc.

You also can consider an intervention a program from a social perspective. WHO had done several SR using, for example, program interventions, as the intervention in a SR.
