Why we are not adopting Virtual Conference Technology?
Several scholars will be graduating in an year or so and either they will have to miss the conferences or they will have to put their lives on risk. COVID-19 pandemic is not going to end in an year until we come up with successful vaccination.
COVID-19 quarantine as it relates to researchers and participants. With the COVID-19 quarantine in full effect, researchers and participants alike are subject to social isolation and heightened stress in these crises.
FDA urges clinical researchers to go virtual in response to COVID-19 pandemic. So Virtual Conference Technology should be adopted.

Virtual conference technology is still relatively new in most parts of the world specially in South Asia where most exhibitors rely heavily on having conferences in big spaces. I guess the challenge now would be to implement this virtual technology into reality and try to get more audience to participate to encourage researchers to share ideas online.
Vardan Atoyan Yes sir, that's what my point was that we should not avoid the conferences; better go ahead through video conferencing. Being from technical field, I was recently looking for the conferences that were scheduled for upcoming months before COVID-19 with the curiosity if any of them thought of making it virtual but I didn't found any, and was very disappointed as I will be graduating in an year and I don't see any scope to attend the conferences without putting my life in risk.
The current pandemic SARS-CoV-2 Coronavirus (causing Covid-19 disease) is a difficult time for many people. Universities operate remotely only as part of e-learning. Organizing scientific conferences is difficult. Video conferencing via the Internet is organized. Editorial processes in some editorial offices may have slowed down due to home quarantine. But one should hope that soon the pandemic will end, the scale of new infections will decrease and the problem of epidemics will end.

Relatively new and requires infrastructure as well as a mindset shift. The latter i feel will take longer.
In fact, we are adopting VCT around the world. It is indispensable for scientists to function in the Covid-19 time.
Yes, it is not known when the SARS-CoV-2 (causing Covid-19 disease) Coronavirus pandemic will fully expire. Therefore, previously scheduled conferences should be held because they are an important element in the development of science. Due to the fact that the possibilities of organizing conferences in the traditional, stationary form are limited or temporarily impossible, so instead of them conferences should be conducted in a remote form, via the Internet online, i.e. in the form of video conferencing.
