Thomson Reuter Impact factor and the RG IF, are there any correlations?

Several Journal impact factors are available, though the most respected is the TR ... recently researchgate created its own RG IF.

I would like to know the opinion and preferences of scientific community, on these two IF and if anyone systems has enough merits that makes it more relevant to actual value of a particular paper.
