Hi all,

I'm recording the forces of the finger tips during five seconds of lifting tasks applied on a force transducer. Participants are asked to lift multiple series of different weight blocks. The measurements that I got from this transducer are:

1- Force values in Newton (figure 1, A), and

2- Force rate of the applied forces throughout the recording time, which is Newton per second (figure 1, B).

Now I'm going to divide the force rate by the force values to show the relation of these two values in response to lifting different weights during the first phase of lifting as depicted in figure 2.

My questions are what is the end unit of such measurement? (N/s/N ?!) and what is the correct terminology to it "in physics I mean", can I refer to it as power or energy?!

Thanks!
