the attached map is taken from a 2011 review of selenium in viral immunity, seems to show strong correlation with areas hardest hit by covid19 in 2020. Review is available here:

Five basic constituents of proteins are carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, and sulfur. Selenium is same column in periodic table as oxygen and sulfur, has same wavefunction in outer electron energy levels, would have a potentially natural place in protein structure.

Anyone have thoughts on whether this is worth pursing, and how to do so?
