Clayey water is used in african regions as mixing water for concrete preparation. The aim of non destructive techniques wil be to estimate the resistivity and strength of those concrete structures at later ages.
The addition of clay increases the strength of morter present in the early stages (10 to 100) hours
Addition of clay also leads to in increase of the final (28) days compressive strength of yhe composite sample
Thank you Dr. Farukh khan.
I will ask kindly if you can provide some ressource articles describing those results.
Best regards.
Is there any scientific article adopting the using of clayey water in concrete mix?
I'm talking about elsevier, nature and wiley highly impact scientific journals.
