It is a very lovely love poem written by a loving poet expressing his deep emotion-love toward his love/wife who was/were for the poet (according to my view) like Scheherazade of the Arabian Night (One Thousand and One Nights).
Dear Nancy Ann Watanabe , I have read the poem just after you recommended it in my post. I found the poem strikingly" Yeatsian". Imagesand themes like the hunter, bird, Byzantium , mystery, truth,...etc abound in his poetry. I would rather describe it as prophetic. It kind of reminds me of "Arabia" by Walter De La Mare.
