I want to know the existance form of NaCl in high concentration of OH- (pH=14). Is there any experiment could do to prove or determine the existance forms: hydrated ions? clusters? or single ions?
I also look foward to cooperate with the scientist and expert to fix this thing.
When NaCl is put into contact with water, positively charged ions attract oxygen from water. A pull is created where the oxygen becomes negatively charged, and hydrogen atom forms electrostatic interactions with the oxygen of water, known as hydrogen bonding. Enough interaction makes it possible for solid sodium chloride to also dissolve in water. The sodium chloride molecule itself is not physically dissociated by water.
Hydrogen bond will exist between NaCl and Oh ions
23Na and 35Cl - NMR are suitable. Heating up to +200oC is possible for standard NMR instruments, special Sapphire high pressure (500 atm) NMR tubes are also available
