Recently, i have checked many published paper, i found the EQE of the self-powered photodetector exceed 1, is about 2-3, i known it can be attributed to the multi-exciton process. But in few paper, the EQE can reached 5-10, why? it also can be ascribed to multi-exciton process? Of course, i also found this phenomenon based on the multi-stacking 2D van der waals heterostructure. In my experiment, i found it still show open circuit voltage in the dark condition, Does the hot carriers play an important role for the self-powered photodetector? In addition, i also found that the Voc will become smaller with the increase of the light intensity of a 532nm laser, Why? Now i am confused. Please help.
