how to achieve the end to end security in IoT (any reference will help )
is there any overlapping between privacy and Identity management term ? i saw them as a different security requirements.

Every proved as secure (symmetrical and asymmetrical) cryptosystem can warrant end-to-end encryption as long as unauthorized or malicious parties in intermediary hops do not become aware of the related decryption key.
Privacy and authenticity are two distinct security goals beside integrity, non-repudiation, and resilience.
End to end (E2E) connections may communicate by means of many different protocols. Some of these protocols have in-built channel encryption facilities, others do not. However, whenever encryption becomes a requirement, key management invariably surfaces as spoil-sport.
There is overlap between privacy and identity management, but their differences are more pronounced than their shared aspects. Privacy is largely dealt with as a compliance domain. Identity management is executed as a business process. Hence, in terms of security goals, I agree with Gunter Fahrnberger's remarks above.
Often, and IoT is one example of this, Security and Privacy are at odds. You may want to get info from a sensor and in order to trust it you need to get an identification (Identity of thing), but for privacy the thing (sensor) does not want the environment to know its identity. So, there are very interesting designs that are needed to achieve security (crypto) but also allow for privacy (so that we can operate with privacy and achieve security). Obviously, cryptographic tools need to be involved. The area is just starting, so there are ore questions than answers based on tested designs.
