On 26 of JUNE 1800, so 220 years ago, the letter of

Professor Alessandro Giuseppe Antonio Anastasio Volta (1745 – 1827)

has been read in front of the ROYAL SOCIETY OF LONDON.

On the electricity excited by the mere contact of conducting substances of different kinds. In a Letter from Mr. Alexander Volta, F.R.S. and it could be considered as a birth of the scientific Electrochemistry

So, I am wondering could we proclaim 26 of JUNE as the day of ELECTROCHEMISTRY
